Terms of Service

Last updated 28 October 2026

TermsPrivacyRefundsSecurity

These terms apply to Kinnita: the website kinnita.com, My Kinnita at api.kinnita.com, the Kinnita Seal plugin and everything that comes with them. They are an agreement between your business and us.

Who we are

Kinnita Technologies OÜ, registry code 17634016, Padriku tee 6/3-5, 11912 Tallinn, Estonia. E-mail: hello@kinnita.com.

What Kinnita does

Kinnita holds important changes — for example a new administrator on your website, a new plugin or a changed theme — until the owner approves them on their own phone with Face ID, Touch ID, a fingerprint or Smart-ID. Everyday work is not affected. Kinnita also tells you when your website goes quiet and, where you turn it on, watches your domain and e-mail settings.

Who it is for

Kinnita is a service for businesses and organisations. By creating an account you confirm that you act for a business and may accept these terms on its behalf.

Your account

  • Give us correct details and keep them up to date.
  • Your approval lives on your devices: keep them locked, and add a second device or a trusted person so that a lost phone does not stop your work.
  • We never ask for your passwords. Nobody from Kinnita will ask you to approve a request you did not expect.

Price and payment

  • The price is shown on kinnita.com and in My Kinnita when you order — today 290 € for the first year per website, then 39 € a month. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. If that changes, we tell you before your next payment.
  • A website you connect during a year already paid for is paid for the days left of that year: 290 € × days left / 365. Paying by card, the sum is charged when the website connects; paying by bank transfer, we send a separate invoice. My Kinnita shows the sum before you connect it.
  • We charge in advance for the period you choose. An invoice is due within 14 days.
  • Card payments: when you pay through our online checkout, the order is processed by our reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for these orders. Paddle handles their payment, invoices and refunds, and Paddle's buyer terms also apply.
  • If an invoice stays unpaid after a reminder, we may pause the service. We tell you first, and your settings are not lost.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by writing to hello@kinnita.com. The service runs until the end of the period you paid for and does not renew. For refunds, see our Refund Policy.

Using Kinnita fairly

  • Connect only websites and domains that you own or are allowed to manage.
  • Do not use Kinnita to attack, test or overload anyone else's systems, and do not try to get around its checks.
  • The free check looks only at what anyone can see anyway. Use it for your own business, or with permission.

If Kinnita cannot be reached

If our service cannot be reached, important changes wait instead of going through — that is the point of the seal. Everyday work goes on. You can always switch the seal off on your own server (WP-CLI) or by removing the plugin, as the guide describes.

Your data and the data on your website

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. When the plugin sends us details about a change on your website — for example the user name or e-mail of the person who tried it — we process them only on your behalf and on your instructions, as your processor under Article 28 of the GDPR. We keep them confidential, use only the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy, help you answer requests from the people concerned, tell you without undue delay about any breach that affects them, and delete them when you close your account.

Our responsibility

We build Kinnita carefully and fix problems promptly, but no security service can promise that nothing bad will ever happen. Kinnita adds a check on your own phone; it does not replace backups, updates or good passwords. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or lost profit, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes

We may improve the service and update these terms. If a change affects you materially, we tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel and get back what you paid for the unused period.

Law and disputes

Estonian law applies. We first try to settle any disagreement by talking; if that fails, disputes are decided by Harju County Court in Tallinn. These terms are also available in Estonian and Russian. If the versions differ, the English version applies.
